Hand harvested Hunter valley Chardonnay , was naturally fermented by indigenous yeasts and allowed to evolve natural in French oak barrels.

Flavours of grapefruit and melon mingle over the toasted wood aromas.

Hand harvested Shiraz grapes were gently fermented in the style of traditional producers from Southern France, the spiritual home of Shiraz. It has been bottled without the use of Preservatives or fining agents to convey the full flavours of the Hunter Valley.

Gentle fermentation by natural yeasts with a short cool maceration. It was aged for 10 months in French oak with 50% new. Bottled without fining or filtration. Purple fruits intermingle with the spice of fine French oak. Minerally and structured it should age gracefully into a powerful example of Hunter Shiraz.

A lovely surprise from a classic Hunter valley vintage, this is our nod to ye old Hunter style of yesteryear.

Dense with ref fruit and brambles from a country lane , it reminds of the more feminine side of Shiraz. Backed with just a hint of wood grain and spice it is pure lush fruit weight and oozes drinkability.
